Here are some quick tips on how to suit up if you’re on the shorter end of the height scale:
Tailor-Made
We already gave away the biggest secret and key to dress dapper; your clothes should be no matter your size and height. Ill-fitting clothes does not look good on anyone, and for shorter guys it can make you look even shorter as it won’t complement your features. will make you look, and feel, the most dapper can be.

Skinny/Slim Fitted Suits
If you’re on the shorter side, you don’t want to wear baggy suits that will make you look as wide as you are tall. You want to wear a suit that creates the illusion of a taller frame, something a slim-fitted suit will do for you.
Remember this also applies to your pants even when you don't wear a full suit.

Vertical Stripes
Some say, as you can read in our blog post here, that vertical stripes is a shorter man’s best friend, as the stripes help create the illusion of a longer body. That’s why you should avoid horizontal stripes, as they will make you appear wider, and thereby shorter.

Crop your Pants
If your suit pants are too short, it will cut off your legs at a rather awkward and unflattering place, making your legs appear shorter than what they are. Having your suit pants tailor made will take care of this problem for you, as they will crop the pants at just the right place, to make sure the pants are not too long nor too short. Your tailor is likely to crop your pants a few centimeters above the ankle, as this is the slimmest point of your legs.
Remember to always dress what flatters your body!
