DON’T MISS THESE!

Men's Fall Outfits for 2022

Work Outfit Ideas & Trends

What you wear to work matters. Not only how others perceive you, but it can also boost your self-esteem. Regardless if you’re employed in an environment where suits are worn or not, dressing well and dressing sharp with well fitted garments will help and even encourage others to take you more seriously. If you’re working in an environment where suits are not needed and the dress code is more casual/business-casual, remember to take care as there’s a fine line between looking smart casual, and sloppy casual.

Don't worry, here to help you find a work outfit that works for you and the industry you're in!

Shoes

Let’s start at the bottom; your shoes. Your shoes matter a great deal and can make or break an entire outfit.

Buy some classic brown or black shoes that are easily combined with many different outfits. If you want to make sure you can wear the shoes for a longer time, stay away from specific trends and buy a more classic shoe to pair with your suit. If you want to be more trendy, buy a brown or black shoe but not necessarily as classic or “standard” as a typical suit shoe. Pair these with your chinos and shirt for a smart casual look.

Tip: remember to match your shoe and belt color!

Mix Casual and Formal

A work outfit trend in 2016 is to mix and match casual/less dressy clothing with more formal pieces. For example, choose casual pants and pair them with a dressy, formal shirt.

Tip: Add a blazer to dress even more dapper! Don’t be afraid to try out patterned shirts. Wear your patterned shirts with beige pants and a one-colored blazer.

Choose one of these two patterned shirts

blue micropattern Grey floral

Blue Micropattern 100% Cotton shirt or this Grey Floral 100% Cotton shirt

blue cotton blazer                  beige slim fit linen pants

Pair it with this  Blue Cotton Blazer and Beige Slim Fit 100% Linen Pants and you're all set!

You can also do the opposite; wear formal pants but a more casual shirt.

As your daily work outfit you can, for example, wear dark blue classic suit pants and pair it with a fun cotton shirt with patterns you normally would not combine with a full suit.

Like these two garments:

   blue merino wool                      Blue paisley

Blue Striped 100% Merino Wool Pants and this Blue Paisley 100% Cotton shirt

Fitted Suit

One work outfit & trend that never goes out of style; have at least one fitted suit in your wardrobe. No matter the industry you’re in or position you have, at one point you will need a suit. If you don’t wear suits often, pick one that you can wear on different occasions. Choose a navy blue or grey suit and it the way it fits your style and personality. To ensure perfect fit, your suit should beto your body size and shape
